Technology is your friend … and so is The Unfurrowed Brow.
Technology won’t go away. It will continue to evolve. The sooner my beloved fellow grown ups get online, the easier it will be to keep up.
The Unfurrowed Brow teaches you to use technology to network and connect with people, grow your business or express yourself in a new way. Did you know technology can take you places you never dreamed of?
Mastering technology will put a glow in your cheeks when you smile, making you look downright youthful.
Because playing with technology should make you look younger, not older.
Moi = Carol Meyers. And I heart technology.
When I was a junior in high school, someone from the local U.S. Army Recruiting Station gave us the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery.
Years later I created a business combining the areas in which I scored the highest on that seemingly random test.
Not Tank Repair, Helicopter Door Gunner, Marine Engineering or Air Traffic Control Tower Operator. Instead I scored highest for:
- Newspaper editing
- Computer programmer.
Here I am now, writing/editing/reporting/broadcasting with a little computer programing on the side with The Unfurrowed Brow.
As a Grown Up
I spent the last 20+ years in communications, public relations and media relations, the last seven of which were with a large global technology firm.
It was odd to hear many of my colleagues admit they didn’t like … technology. Scared of it. Certain if they ignored LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter, they would go away. Grown ups all, many had relied on teenage children or interns to set up their bare-bone LinkedIn profiles.
Playing with technology shouldn’t stress you out. There is an alternative. You can explore the digital realm in this Digital Age with ease … and an unfurrowed brow.
